About Us

Our School:

Everglades City School is one of the smallest PreK-12 public schools in the state of Florida, with a student population of approximately 200 students, located on the banks of the Barron River with direct access to the 10,000 Islands and the Gulf of Mexico!

We believe that all students have the ability to be successful. Our goal is to create a learning environment that enhances our students' desire to achieve the highest possible goals that each individual has the ability to reach. Our student programs, both athletic and academic, are geared toward assisting our students’ success.

Fishing Fundraiser:

Hook'em in the Glades is our 3rd Annual fishing fundraiser, which will take place on SEPTEMBER 21, 2019!  Participants will fish the 10,000 islands for a chance to catch the biggest Snook, Redfish, and Seatrout while supporting our school.  Our fundraiser will help generate much needed funds for our students and programs including the launch of our new Leader in Me program.
